Sexology is the study of human sexuality in its many aspects. It is the scientific study of human sexuality, including human sexual interests, behaviors and functions.



Sexology encompasses many different fields such as biology, psychology, medicine, gender studies and many more.

A sexologist is engaged in the scientific study of sexuality and is interested in understanding what people do sexually and how they feel about what they do. A sexologist learns about the broad spectrum of human sexual behavior and the many factors that influence people's behavior and feelings about their sexuality.
